MOOVING LOOP

MOOVING LOOP is a non-destructive technique used in electromagnetic prospecting, ideal for studying changes in electrical conductivity in the subsurface.

In this method, a transmitter coil generates an electromagnetic field that induces an electric current in the subsurface, while the receiver detects the secondary field derived. This technique is used to map the distribution of electrical conductivity in the soil, which can provide information about the geological structure and characteristics of the subsoil, it is ideal for detecting conductive ore bodies.
